Dr. Al Hashemi, Chairman of Reem Finance, brings a wealth of experience from working in senior leadership positions across businesses, government, and academia. He is proven as a notable figure within the region’s financial services industry. Throughout his tenure, he has overseen projects for short-term finance, bill discounting, recourse lending and mezzanine financing.
In addition to his role as Chairman of Reem Finance, he holds the positions of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Integrated Capital and Chairman of Integrated Securities, a securities business that provides clients with the opportunity to trade on UAE, GCC, and international markets.
Mustafa Kheriba is the Board Member of Reem Finance, Chief Operating Officer of ADFG and Executive Director of the Company’s Investment Manager, ADCM Ltd.
Mustafa manages all revenue lines, business development and control aspects of ADFG and its subsidiary companies. He also oversees the deal origination, fundraising activities and directly manages key investments for the company.
Moreover, he is currently serving as the Executive Director of Integrated Alternative Finance, Spadille Ltd., Integrated Capital, Northacre Plc, Reem Finance, Integrated Securities and Integrated Eastern European Fund, in addition to being Non-Executive Director at Qannas Investments Limited.
Mustafa has served in senior posts in financial services and investment companies in the GCC, USA, and Canada. He has been named among the top 50 MENA Fund Managers in the 2015 and 2016 annual survey conducted by MENA FM Magazine. He holds a BA degree from the University of Toronto and an MBA degree from Ohio Dominican University with Magna Cum Laude honors.
Amit Wanchoo serves on the Board of Directors of Reem Finance and is the CEO of Abu Dhabi Capital Group. He has 30 years of experience in building shareholder value in the financial services and FMCG companies in Asia Pacific, India and the Middle East.
Amit has a BA degree with Honors in Economics from St. Stephen’s College, New Delhi. He completed his MA degree from the Asian Institute of Management, in Manila, where he specialized in Development Management.
In addition to her role as a member of the Board of Directors of Reem Finance, Sara Al Binali holds the position of Head of Strategic Planning at First Abu Dhabi Bank, responsible for defining, developing and executing the Bank’s strategic instructions, as well as leading the executive team in researching, analyzing and sustaining First Abu Dhabi Bank’s strategic initiatives.
She began her career at Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, where she spent six years as part of the Far East Equities Investment Team. Her duties included investment, capital and real-estate property finance.
Huda Abdulla is a prominent Emirati expert, with over 18 years of banking and finance experience. She is currently serving as the Executive Vice President and Head of Emirati Customer Propositions in the First Abu Dhabi Bank, is Chairman of the Woman Advisory Committee as well as being a member of the Board of Directors in Reem Finance and ADNIF.
Huda previously served with ABN Amro and Mashreq. She holds an MA degree in Marketing from the University of Lincolnshire and Humberside in the United Kingdom.
Howard Kitson is the Chief Executive Officer of Reem Finance and has more than 20 years of international banking experience.
Howard has worked in Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and the United Kingdom for HSBC in various corporate and capital market roles. He served in Mashreq Bank for five years as Country Head. More recently, he occupied the position of the Executive Vice President of Wholesale and International Banking at United Arab Bank in the UAE.
Academically, he holds an honors degree in Economics from The University of Liverpool in the United Kingdom and an executive MBA from the University of Western Ontario in Canada.
Rajiv Sehgal is the Head of Credit & Risk. He has over 35 years of Retail Corporate banking and financial services experience – Islamic and Conventional. He previously worked at Standard Chartered Bank, Banque Nationale de Paris and ANZ Grindlays Bank in India. Since 2001, he has held positions across the UAE in retail banking, credit and collections roles.
He served as the Head of Unsecured Credit at National Bank of Dubai, Senior Vice President of Credit and Risk at Amlak Finance (leading provider of Islamic mortgage finance).
Rajiv has a strong record of professional qualifications including Fellow Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India; Associate Member of Institute of Cost Accountants of India; Institute of Company Secretaries of India and Indian Institute of Bankers.
Seraj Faidi is the Head of Business Services. He is responsible for overseeing the evolution of Human Resources, operations, IT and Finance.
Seraj has 19 years of work experience and occupied many senior positions in the banking industry across the UAE, including Arab Bank, ADCB, and Mashreq, further to his extensive experience in Private Banking and Wealth Management in the GCC markets.
Seraj completed his BA degree in Accountancy from Palestine. He is also a certified trainer. He has conducted various signature training programs and is known as a keen advocate of personal and professional development.
Mohamed Al Zamil is the Operations & IT Manager with more than 13 years of experience in Islamic Banking, corporate finance, banking operations and Project Management.
During his career, he worked at Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, Union National Bank and Al Hilal Bank.
He completed his BA degree in Management and Information Systems from Sharjah University, UAE. Further to being a Certified Islamic Banker (CIB), he holds a PMP certificate (Project Management Professional) from PMI institute in Pennsylvania, USA.
Saju Mathai is the Finance Manager. He has over 25 years of experience in finance, accounting and banking.
Prior to his position in Reem Finance, Saju occupied various roles with Bin Jabr Group Ltd. and New Medical Center. He holds a MA degree in Commerce and is a member of Certified Management Accountants (CMA), Australia.
Shehabeldin Elsir Hassn is the Senior Collections Manager. He has an 18-year track record of service in the leading banks and financial institutions within the UAE with a reputable wealth of experience in collection and recovery roles.
He began his career as a Recovery Officer with Osool Finance, and then shifted to Mashreq Bank as a Senior Recovery Officer. Moreover, he worked at Finance House where he occupied the position of the Collections Manager and established the Collection & Recovery Department.
Academically, he holds a BA degree in Art and a diploma in Information System Management from APTECH Computer Education, the University of Pune, India.
Issa Al Sayed is the Compliance Anti Money Laundering (AML) and Fraud Manager. He joined Reem Finance in 2008 and exerted utmost efforts to develop policies across various departments including Service Level Agreements and training to staff.
In 2014, he started managing the Compliance, AML & Fraud Department, overseeing the company’s compliance program, in coordination with the legal and audit teams where he established standards and policies pertaining to regulatory requirements in order to help ensure the legal, ethical, and proper conduct across the organization.
Prior to joining Reem Finance, he worked in a senior position in Dubai Islamic Bank’s Credit Department where he gained an extensive understanding of Credit, Project Management, Compliance, Auditing, and Operational Risk Management.
