Dr. Saleh Al Hashemi
Dr. Saleh Al Hashemi, Chairman of Reem Finance, brings a wealth of experience from working in senior leadership positions across businesses, government, and academia. He is proven as a notable figure within the region’s financial services industry. He also held leading roles at the Petroleum Institute and at the General Secretariat of the Executive Council in Abu Dhabi.
In addition to his role as Chairman of Reem Finance, he currently holds the position of Chairman of Dubai Islamic Insurance & Reinsurance Co.
Dr. Al Hashemi holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Tufts University in the United States.
Syed Basar Shueb
Mr. Syed Basar Shueb is the Vice Chairman in Reem Finance PJSC and has been CEO, Managing Director and a member of the Board of Directors of IHC since July, 2019. Alongside his tenure at IHC, Syed Basar has held the position of Group CEO of the Pal Group of Companies since 2000 and holds leadership positions on several other high profile companies, including Chimera Investments, and Keyhole TIG (K-TIG) Limited, and is one of the key players in the UAE’s utilities services sector through PAL District Cooling.
In addition to becoming Vice Chairman of Alpha Dhabi Holding (ADH), Syed Basar was elected to the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
In addition, he was listed in the Middle East’s top-tier of CEOs by Forbes in 2021
Majed Odeh
Mr. Majed Fuad Odeh has joined Reem Finance’s Board of Directors in May 2021. In addition to his position in Reem Finance, Mr. Majed is the CEO of Q Holding P.S.C
Mr. Majed was Group CFO of Royal Group where he oversees the company’s financials and is responsible for its strategic and business financing activities.
Prior to joining Royal Group, Mr. Odeh worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Director for 18 years, during which he acted as Engagement Director and was responsible for overall client engagement acceptance and risk management.
Mr. Odeh has 28 years of experience in the Middle East, having during that time cultivated a breadth of exposure and contacts with international firms over the world. He holds an MBA with a concentration in Accounting and Finance from Southwest Missouri State University in the US.
Sara Al Bin Ali
Sara Al Bin Ali is the Group Head of Corporate, Commercial, and International Banking at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) serving as a member of the executive committee.
Sara has over 24 years of experience in financial services, investment, and banking. In her role at FAB, she is responsible for leading and growing the Corporate, Commercial, and International Banking division and for ensuring that it is aligned with the Group’s overall vision, strategy, and direction.
She began her career at Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, where she spent six years as part of the Far East Equities Investment Team. Her duties included investment, capital and real-estate property finance.
Sara graduated from Northwestern University in the United States with a degree in economics – and holds an Excellence and Awareness certification that she obtained at INSEAD’s Singapore campus.
Dr. Huda Abdulla
Huda Abdulla is a prominent Emirati expert, with over 18 years of banking and finance experience. She was serving as the Executive Vice President and Head of Emirati Customer Propositions in the First Abu Dhabi Bank, is Chairman of the Woman Advisory Committee as well as being a member of the Board of Directors in Reem Finance and ADNIF.
Huda previously served with ABN Amro and Mashreq. She holds an MA degree in Marketing from the University of Lincolnshire and Humberside in the United Kingdom.
Chief Executive Officer
Seraj Faidi
Seraj Faidi joined Reem Finance PJSC in 2016. and held various senior posts before assuming the role of Chief Executive Officer, Seraj is entrusted with the overall management, performance, strategy & leadership of the company.
Mr. Faidi brings over two decades of banking and financial services experience to his role as a CEO Reem finance. Prior to joining Reem Finance, he held various senior positions with several leading financial institutes in the UAE such as Arab Bank, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank & Mashreq Bank, His solid experience, across various functions within Consumer, Private, & SME banking demonstrates his diverse background within banking in the UAE.
An MBA holder in Global Banking and Finance from Geneva Business School in Switzerland, and a Bachelor’s degree holder in Accounting, Seraj is also certified trainer who has conducted various signature training programs in many fields including CSR and Emiratization.

Mohamed Al Zamil
Mohamed Al Zamil is a professional banker with more than 17 years of experience in Islamic & conventional Banking, Corporate & Retail Finance, Banking IT & Operations and Project Management. At Reem Finance PJSC, He oversees Operations & IT, CAD, legal & collections, and HR departments.
During his career, He worked at ADIB, UNB and Al Hilal Bank where he participated in many mega projects including 3 system migrations in addition to launching new products and centralized services.
He completed his BA degree in Management and Information Systems from Sharjah University, UAE. Further to being a Certified Islamic Banker (CIB), he holds a PMP certificate (Project Management Professional) from PMI institute in Pennsylvania, USA
Nouman Aziz
Nouman Aziz Mir is the Chief Strategy Officer of Al Reem Finance. He has over 20 years of diversified experience covering banking, financial services, private equity, and professional accountancy. His core focus is to infuse organizational culture across internal stakeholders and align the organization to achieve and exceed goals.
Prior to Joining Reem Finance, Nouman’s most recent role was Head of Strategic Planning & Product Development at Al Maryah Community Bank, this is in addition to multiple senior positions in leading organisations i.e FAB, CBD, Finance House and Dubail Holding.
Nouman is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW) and Fellow Certified Chartered Accountant (FCCA) from Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of UK.
Aravinda K.S
Aravinda joins Reem Finance PJSC as the Chief Information Officer. He has over 20 years of diversified and rich experience predominantly in the areas of Core Banking, Financial services Implementation, Retail, Accounting & Reporting; and specializing in Core Banking Implementation and Digital transformation.
During his career, he worked at Temenos, Banks & Stoics where he played an instrumental role in implementation of core banking (Temenos-T24.) in GCC, APAC & Europe, as well as leading the transformation in multiple leading organizations in the region.
Aravinda holds M.Sc. in Information Technology from University of Mysore – India and an MBA in Finance from University of Madras &
Yousuf Mohammad
Yousuf Mohammed joins Reem Finance PJSC as the Head of Credit & Risk. He has over 12 years of financial services experience predominantly in the areas of Corporate, SME and Consumer Banking; and specializing in Credit, Risk and Compliance.
During his career, he worked at Al Maryah Community Bank LLC, Reem Finance PJSC and Gulf Finance Corporate PJSC where he played an instrumental role in implementation of key projects including migration and launch of core banking modules (Oracle-Flexcube, TCS Bancs etc.), UAEPASS Customer Onboarding workflow, establishing the Compliance function, in addition to providing advisory on new products and digital services.
Yousuf holds a B.A. in Business Management from University of Bedfordshire – UK.
Manoj Asher
Manoj is a seasoned banker and joins us with over 16 years of experience across Banking & Finance industry with leading Global and Local institutions.
Before joining Reem Finance, his last stint was with Gulf Finance as Head of Compliance, Operations, and IT for 5+ years. Prior to that, he was managing multiple teams within the Credit Documentation Unit of Standard Chartered Bank for almost a decade.
Manoj is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), Certified AML Fintech Compliance Associate (CAFCA) and holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from University of Edinburgh.
Manoj Mohanan
Manoj joined Reem Finance PJSC as the Head of Internal Audit in July 2023. He has over 15 years of extensive experience in Internal Audit and Risk Advisory services.
His career journey has taken him through renowned organizations, including Ernst & Young (EY), Protiviti Middle East, and Kreston Menon, where he provided Internal Audit and Consulting services. His hands-on work experience extends across multiple geographies, including the UAE, KSA, UK Africa, and India.
Manoj is a Chartered Accountant (FCA) from ICAI-India and holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce. This is in addition to multiple completed courses in Information Systems, Business Valuation, Forensic Accounting and Fraud Detection.

on 16th anniversary of Reem Finance
Since its establishment in (2007), Reem Finance adopted flexibility and innovation as its approach, to enable it to succeed and excel in a competitive knowledge-based economy based on innovation in banking, the foundations laid by the leadership of the UAE during the past years.
Therefore, Reem Finance placed its client at the center of its interests and operations, and designed and innovated out of client’s needs a range of banking services and financial solutions that achieved their objectives, and yielded the best returns for shareholders.
Reem made it realize that investing in the national youth energies and empowering them is the key to achieve and maintain excellence enabling Reem Finance to overcome crises and make them more capable, strong and flexible to deal with.
